“I joined the Teddy bear run around 3 years ago,
It all started with cars and curry, the once a month meet, it is a great chance to raise some money for a great charity.
As most people find as you get older life gets busy and you struggle to keep in regular contact with friends.
My friends and I also use this monthly meet as a good excuse to stay in contact and catch up with one an other.
I decided late 2025 that I wanted to sell up my road cars and do something a bit different
So after chatting to a few people I know I decided that the legends race series was what I wanted to do.
I used to do a fair bit of karting as a kid and have always had a keen interest in cars and motorsport, But not raced since.
Legends main appeal was that no matter what your budget the cars are basically an even playing field which is unusual in lots of motorsport.
This year I decided to enter two race weekends out of the 7 in the series, I have already completed my first one at American speed fest Brands Hatch and plan to do Donington Park at the end of sept.
I decided it would be a great opportunity to spread the teddy bear name, and hopefully long term when I get more involved i would love to be able to get some family’s to the circuits on race weekends for a great day out.”
