Teddy Bear Run is aware that some online search results may incorrectly link our organisation to the criminal conviction of John Rampton. To ensure accurate information is available, we want to clarify the facts.
John Rampton left Teddy Bear Run in 2018. Several years after his departure, he was convicted of offences involving illegal images. These offences were not connected in any way to Teddy Bear Run, our fundraising events, our volunteers, or any children associated with our organisation. During his time with us, he was never in a position of unsupervised contact with children.
Teddy Bear Run remains an active, independent fundraising group, continuing our work supporting children with disabilities and life‑limiting conditions. We publish this statement to correct misleading search results and to make clear that Teddy Bear Run had no involvement in the offences for which John Rampton was later convicted.
